Can I come? I won’t eat much, promise

You had me at pasta! I personally don’t like beef but would be more than happy with all the other options.

I stopped reading when I saw “dessert trilogy.”
This sounds AWESOME.

I would love this! (And I’m gluten free and would totally be full. I couldn’t eat everything, but the antipasta, entree, and dessert would be fine)

Sounds delicious! I would just caution against having an open bar available without having any food (saying this since there are no hors d’oeuvres). But if the idea is to have the antipasto bar when you generally have passed hors d’oeuvres, or that the cookies/treats will be spread around the venue (no one wants to interrupt a receiving line to grab a snack) I think it’s fine.

I actually haven’t considered a shell fish allergy. I’ll let people know before hand that if there is a chance that they have one, maybe to stay away from the fish since there a lot more food available. I don’t think anyone knowingly has one though and everyone on my side LOVES fish. Not to sure about my fiancees side though. Thanks for the feedback!!
No not one vegetarian and to be honest (maybe I should have asked), we weren’t offered a vegetarian option for our guests for whatever reason. The menu was part of a promotion so maybe thats why?

Yes – as a vegetarian, I’d say I would have a lot to eat. 🙂

Sure everyone can come!!!
Yeah you’re right some people may be going on an empty stomach. I’m not sure if this typically happens at weddings but my family will usually have the close family members over the brides parents house for a bite to eat before the ceremony, or a bite to eat after the ceremony in the basement of the church only for close family members. For the people who don’t want to stay, they usually head back to their house (if it’s close) and grab something to eat there between the time the ceremony ends and the reception begins. Hopefully people aren’t starving by the time the reception starts, they’ll really enjoy the food but I would feel bad.

Sounds wonderful! Man, now I want grilled pineapple for dessert tonight!
That was the one thing my fiancee was so happy about. His mom used to make grilled pineapple for him and his brothers all the time so when he saw it, it brought back some good memories I guess.

I wish I was going to a wedding with food as yummy as this 🙂
