What a beautiful venue! I loooove pasta so I might be biased, but that sounds like plenty of food to me. No one should leave hungry. I do suggest being clear about the menu in your invitations so that no one is expecting a big meaty entree. People have all sorts of expectations about weddings and might come famished on the assumption that there will be tons of food.

Adding cooked veggies and/ or a salad could help complete the meal. Will you have anyone with dietary limitations? Celiac, gluten and vegetarian might be limited

I think it sounds good. Suggest including the stuffed mushrooms for the vegetarians. Also, veggie plates can be a little unsatisfying. Could you substitute for salads?

I would defintely add a couple types of salads and consider adding a couple types of veggie sides for dinner.

Pasta is my favorite food so this sounds amazing to me…can I come?!?! 😂

I agree that a little salad (pre-tossed with Italian or Caesar to fit with the pasta?) will help tie it in so they feel like they have a full meal with lots of sides. It doesn’t have to be the type of salad you eat as a meal (with a protein and lots of junk included in it).

I’m one of those people that doesn’t really like to load up on carbs. I recently went to an event where they had “loads” of finger food and a bunch of breads and pastries. It was quite unsatisfying and a lot of people left early to McDonalds and such. If I’ll be staying from about dinnertime to late onwards through the night, No matter how people say they have a lot of finger food, I’d like some variety that is more than just chip and dips and light finger foods.

What you are describing could work, but honestly it just looks like pasta with a cheese platter + party chips. Do you have enough pasta to feed all your guests? What about including salads or a make your own salad bar? Nourishing soups? I think a few warm apps might help, something easy that can be prepared in advanced like skewers, mini burgers, mini chicken puffs or hummus?

So….I’ve had really good pasta at events, and some really bad pasta at events. I went to a wedding that served pasta buffet style and it was soooo stuck together. Just something to think about. 🙂 I have gone to a wedding though that just did appetizers. I would definitely mention that on the invitation though so that people have a heads up. Also, I would make sure to have more meat appetizers than just bbq wings. Maybe like bacon wrapped asparagus, steak skewers, etc.
