Give guests 3 entree choices. It is worth the extra coordination. : (18 votes)

All the options sound delish! I think I might like a little bit of both, saves me the embarassment of begging a taste off someone else! (yeah, sometimes I’m THAT girl :S)

I don’t think it’s that much work to coordinate entree choices.  we just put it in a spread sheet and gave it to our caterer, (how many dishes for each table).

As someone who doesn’t eat beef, I would not like this because I would be basically getting half an entree.  Plus I would be kind of grossed out if the beef touched my chicken.

So I guess my vote goes to give people a choice.

My planner suggested the same thing! We are doing the same thing you are, beef and seafood, and a Veggie option. Are you asking for any special requirements on your RSVP? I am not sure if I am, my planner said most people will just write it if they need to.

Sounds great to me, but I’m not at all picky.  You know your guests best and whether this would work for them.

I think letting them know what the meals are is a really good idea, that way if there are allergies or things people don’t eat they dont get a “half entree” like one of the pp’s said since they’ll have the option of pasta if it’s a big deal. Would I be right in assuming there will be other food? There’s usually lots of food at wedding so even if people don’t eat the whole main entree they definitely wont starve!

Those choices sound great! It was an extra step to keep track of the entree counts, but it wasn’t a big deal. I had an issue with guests forgetting to mark what entree they wanted. With the split entree, younwouldntnhave to worry about it.

Sounds great to me, but you might want to consider giving people who don’t like beef or chicken an avenue to ask for a full portion of either entree.

I love having multiple options and tasting everything (which is why I tend to prefer buffets), so I think that doing the split is a great idea!  Plus the options sound delicious!

I’d love to get both.  I want the veggie one, too, please!
