    I would make a menu card to put in front of the buffet which listed all the food options, if I did anything at all.  But more than likely, I’d skip this part or have labels in front of each dish.

    I would not make a menu to put on the tables or at the seats for a buffet; I’d find it confusing.

    I made a couple menus and put them in 8×10 frames and had them out on the bar for people to look at before dinner was served.

    I agree– just make sure the dishes are clearly labled so there aren’t any questions.

    Not copies for everyone. You could just print out what is available and stick it on the wall in a few places, and then have labels by each food item? And something that helps vegetarians know what they can eat.

    Agree with pp with a menu by the buffet or nice labels. Especially if you have vegetarians.

    I made out menu cards and placed a couple on each table.  It gave our guests something to look at ahead of time and hopefully get excited for what was on the buffet!
