@AshleyR83:  Are you having any stationary displays? crudite? cheese and fruit platters? sushi display? If so, I’d put the menu there or maybe at the bar. If your gift table, escort card table, and/or guestbook table will be accessible duinr cocktail hour, that would be a good place too. If it’s appropriate for the style of your wedding, you could put a large standing chalboard out with the menu on it.

I designed my own cocktail hour signage and included the drink selections and the tray-passed cocktail hors d’oeuvres menu on the same sign, like when you go to a restaurant for Happy Hour and everything is on one tiny menu. I even did it the way the restaurant does it by putting the vineyard/brand of wine, the year of the wine and the place of origin. It worked as we had about six varieties of wine and four kinds of beers. I also put the two signature drinks on there with the ingredients, just like a regular cocktail menu.

I didn’t do signs at every tall table as we had a few cocktail table floral arrangements so the tall tables that didn’t get flowers got a sign. Then the bar had a sign too. These were framed in regular picture frames and printed out on a color printer. Overall, they looked great and weren’t a ton of work or money.

@AshleyR83:  Yes, I just printed out the menus (in a nice colored printer on regular, smooth colored printer paper) and popped them into nice frames, which I got at the Aaron Brothers sale (the buy one, get one for a penny or something sale). If you PM your email address, I can email you the PDF of the menu itself.

I like the idea of little menus on cocktail tables! You could also have one big menu (maybe a chalkboard menu) displayed near the bar or entry-way.
