One at each place setting and to bring some needed color to the tables. We had the table numbers and other papergoods done to match.

@JerseyBride2014:  I honestly did not do a menu and no one missed it one bit. Instead I had their napkins folded and put the thank you note in it.  You could totally create and print the menu yourself.  I created mine, got paper at Hobby Lobby and then printed at Kinkos and cut myself…it was a total of like $10 bucks, super easy. I can show you what I did for mine to give you an idea How you could adapt for a menu.

I’m doing one at each place setting.. but, I’m printing my own so there isn’t a huge cost for me other than the paper/ink.

We’re doing one at each table setting, but we have a lot of people with food allergies, and want them to know what is coming (we’re also letting the kitchen know who has allergies).

@JerseyBride2014:  I did one at each setting. It’s on the back of the gold paper, banded with the thank you card.

At each place setting for us.  It will visually take the place of a charger.  I made a little pocket on the side to hold the (optional) chopsticks.

We hope to have enough of our DIY program paper left, to print-out and have standing, on each table, 2-3 menus. They come 50 in a packet, for $10. It seems like a waste to have programs that people just toss on a table, after exiting the ceremony, or menus, that the venue cleans up and throws out, after the main course.

P.S. Our guests won’t have choices, so I don’t need to list choices, on a menu. We are also putting the menu on the Reception page, of our website, if anyone is curious.

Our venue printed our menus free of charge, so we had one per place setting. But I imagine if they didn’t, I would have still done it that way.  But I can also see having one per table!
