After the Ketubah Ceremony, DH and I had 15 minutes to ourselves whie our guests and bridal oarty enjoyed the first part of the cocktail hour, (we did 30 min before the ceremony and 30 minutes after). And then it was on to the ceremony.
DH and the bridal party walked in to Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” played by a classic guitar and violin duo. Dylan is DH’s favorite artists so it was very meaningful. I started tearing up listening to the music outside.
Then it was my turn. DH and I picked the themesong from Princess Bride, “Storybook Story” for my entrance song.
The whole thing felt surreal and magical.

Instead of writting our own vows, we wrote words of love to each other telling each other why we love each other, and why we are chosing to marry each other. This is DH reading his words of love to me.
I love this picture of DH’s parents.

My mom during the sand ceremony. We had our moms pour in sand of two different colors and then we mixed the sand with our hands, showing that while the sand was combined and “one” you could still make out the pebbles of different colors, (symbolizing that we are individuals and that we do not lose who we are in our relationship)
I love how my mom looks here
