@winerygirl:fingertip length or chapel is my vote. There is just something so romantic about a chapel length veil with a mermaid and loose curls. I am having  chapel length b/c fingertips always chopped the proportions on the back on my dress

I think fingertip or elbow. I wouldn’t go with anything that would be long enough to lay on the flared part of the skirt.

I’m wearing a mermaid dress and I am going for a blusher/birdcage veil – it looks so cute with the dress and gives me a retro, glamorous look. I suppose it depends what type of look you were going for. I never wanted a veil at all so I didnt have a problem with not haveing a long, traditional veil x
