I don’t think it would be weird, especially with such sharp contrast in the color! I think your wedding is going to be very elegant and glamorous!

I don’t think it would look strange unless its exactly the same fit (it the rouching and such).. with a dress like this, I’m wondering if you have 7 girls with the confidence to wear dresses like these? If so, then go for it!

My sister was in a wedding like 3 years ago and she wore a pink mermaid style dress and the bride wore a lace mermaid style dress. It looked great.

This is definitely going to look dated one day.  However, pretty much every Bridesmaid or Best Man dress does, so I wouldn’t let that be a factor in your decision.

I think it will be fine with your dress.

I also think every girl should try it on.  Where the ruching ends in the back will definitely emphasize their tushes.  If anyone is well-endowed in that area, they may not feel comfortable with this.

That dress is beautiful, I think it would look great with a mermaid wedding dress.

I initially chose a mermaid style dress for my Bridesmaid or Best Man, which looked beautiful in the pictures, but once they tried it on, it was a big no. Most of my Bridesmaid or Best Man are curvy, with hips and ample behinds, and the look/fit was just too sexy for a wedding IMO. Not sure what shape/size your Bridesmaid or Best Man are, but consider a fit that looks good on all body types. It’s a beautiful dress though

I think it would look good as long as it doesnt look the exact same as your dress but in a different colour.
