hey ladies so I got my ring resized in august but I didnt really notice until recently that I think they messed it up. The diamond looks a little crooked and the two parts that come up (you will see in the picture) well one is farther away from the diamond. They used to both be very close I guess I just need to tak it back in? It is from Kays and I have the lifetime warrant. Sometimes I think it’s just the way I am looking at it though because no one else has noticed it when looking at it. Sorry if the pics are giant!

Collegelove: I totally see it and would NOT be ok with that. You need to take it back to Kay’s and insist they repair it, or better yet get you a new setting in the correct size. I’m so sorry that happened 🙁

kimmo416: I’m so glad I’m not seeing things that arent there! I dont like the Kays I took it to. It isnt the one he bought it at but we live in different cities. I will hate to go without it for awhile again but oh well!

I see it too. Take it back in to be fixed. It’s possible they bent it during sizing. If that’s a setting they carry in the store I’d ask to see one out of the case to compare.

Collegelove: OMG in the profile view I can totally see that there is more of a gap on one side than the other. No you are not imagining things. Take it back immediately and make them fix it. That is very shoddy work on their part, they should be super apologetic about that. If they give you a hard time, I would make a big stink.

Collegelove: Definitely send it back to be repaired! that’s so obvious. Maybe see if you can get a new ring or something. I know when I had to get a ring re-sized it was obvious that it had been re-sized and I had to get a brand new molding of the ring since they messed up.
If it makes you feel any better I spent the entirety of my engagement period without a ring and then a good two weeks into my marriage without a ring!

I agree, it should not have passed inspection. Take it back.
