(Closed) Messy updo with a busy (ish) dress?

Hi bees, I know my wedding is a fair way away but I just want to get a feel for the overall look, and I’m searching around for decent hairstylists, MUAS.

i loooove messy updos, I never wear my hair looking too pristine but I’m just wondering if you all think a more relaxed updo will go with my dress. These are the kind of styles I’m thinking. First pic is my dress, its not actually from weddingshopinc, haha.

Also on a side note….what kind if veil? I really wanted a cathedral length but will it be too much with the busy train?

@clairelou29:  It was hard to think about in the abstract, so I’m glad you provided photos. I think you should do something a bit more controlled. Because you dress is so ornate, I worry your hair might not look “purposely” messy, it might look like it got “messed up.”
