Our invitation kit had metallic envelopes – they were a NIGHTMARE!!!  We tried a number of pens and finally what worked best were gel pens.  We ended up writing some of the envelopes with that and printing labels for the rest.  We tried running them through our Canon printer and no amount of ink would show dark enough.

Yeah my canon printer was a no go. I used a gocco which worked great! Just let it dry for a while! I don’t know about anything else because I ended up not going with them.

I used "shimmery metallic" paper and Kinkos printed them for me on their laser printer. Mine turned out fine. I did make sure to use bold lettering for EVERYTHING tho

I used white Pearlescent Metallic paper from Paper and More and printed on our Laser HP. We didnt have to wait at all. They were dried instantly and they came out great! I first tried with my Canon Ink Jet but was no good.
