HarveySpecter :  Good! Let me know how it goes– again it’s a great teaching moment for me & I’m sure for anyone who might go through this.

HarveySpecter :  I don’t have pcos, but my two cents if you are TTC with pcos is to ask to be referred to an RE.  Sometimes well meaning GPs may miss underlying issues when trying the bandaid approach.  Metformin helps a lot of people get pregnant by improving egg quality (which can be affected in many ways including insulin resistance).  Letrozole is definitely a staple drug with anovulation as well.  Don’t waste time going to an obgyn (unless you are in the USA and your insurance requires an obgyn to refer you to an RE).  This advice is coming from someone who has been dealing with infertility for 3 years.  Good luck.

HarveySpecter :  I hope I don’t sound insensitive! Your fertility treatments are none of my business! I blame having to stop my medical rotations abruptly due to the pandemic so anything medical related, besides covid-19, I’m obsessing over. Don’t feel pressured to update if you don’t want to. Good luck & I hope you get answers!
