@agrinste1:  we did the catalonia in Feburary where we got engaged and we loved it. We are hoping to honeymoon there as well for two weeks. We are more laidback and just like to relax, we didn’t want a huge “party” resort. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which had some good perks to it like an extra terrace dinner ticket and safe ect. I would highly recommand it but I keep in mind I’ve never been to an all inclusive resort before it.

Dreams is within walking distance if you wish to swim with the dolphins its right next door, and you can go and watch the sealions, and dolphins swim ect.

The resort offered varies activites but we didn’t really do anything other than attend one of two of their night shows lion king and a circus du soil type of thing. Was pretty good.

Resturants were good, Japense was great but had a rather long wait so just be prepared.  Buffet food was okay, but what can you expect from a buffet.

Scheduling tours was super easy through the olmpia tour company based out of the hotel, we scheduled visiting the Mayan ruins, and swimming with the sea turtles with them both were amazing.

Staff were friendly, and knew us by name. Cleaning staff didn’t speak english but everyone else did.

Hope that helps.
