I WAS RIPPED OFF BY THIS SELLER AND HAVE REPORTED HIM/HER TO THE FBI INTERNET CRIMES COMPLAINT CENTER. I am not the first one to be ripped off, but I sure do want to be the last!

That is awful. My only experience buying here on the Bee has been good but I often have a moment’s pause when I see how much buying and selling goes on. Not everyone is who or what they claim to be! So sorry.
I was such a fool. If you search weddingbee.com for “Kasey Padilla” you will find my story.
Not really sure this warrants an FBI report (yet anyway). Shouldn’t Paypal protect your purchase if the item was never received? I once filed an “Item not received” complaint via Paypal, they refunded my money after 30 days. It’s pretty hard to get away with petty theft if you’re going through a site like Paypal or Ebay that protects the buyer’s interest first.
The issue is that this seller has done this several times to several people. It does warrant a report to the FBI Internet Crimes Center regardless of a PayPal refund or not. I already had one person on here thank me for posting this…there was an attempt to fraud them too. Like I said, I was a fool, but I really hope that I am the last one to be fooled by these people.
I thought I recognized that name.
Casey Anthony’s lawyers name was Leonard Padilla.
Kasey Padilla.
Someone has a sense of humor.
I need to make a comment and NO I have absolutely NO affiliation with these two. I myself have gone through something similar but on ebay. I was the seller. In December, I shipped a packaged via Parcel Post to one of my auction winners. Even with delivery confirmation, unless you request insurance if the package becomes lost there is nothing you can do about it with the exception of filing a claim with either ebay or paypal.
Don’t assume that just because you didn’t receive your package that they didn’t ship. Case in point, I shipped my package. Yet, if you go online to check the delivery confirmation even though I went to the post office and dropped the package off myself with a witness, it was never scanned into their system. Hence there is no information in the system about it and it never made it to the person I was shipping to. Aggrivating because I the seller ended up being out the money because ebay awarded them their money back plus the item I had sold.
File a claim with Paypal – you will get all of your money back.
When you purchase something from someone online whether it be ebay or one of the wedding boards – ALWAYS request delivery confirmation as well as insurance. These are well worth the tiny bit of extra money you will spend.
