@gloriela86:  what churches did you go to?  I’m originally from Hialeah and I know they don’t normally ask for a “donation” of more then $500, but that’s at the Catholic churches. What denomination are you looking for?

@gloriela86:  Just out of interest, why can’t her fiancé go? Is it due to work commitments. Most churches, I would hope, should be accommodating of work schedules and try and find something that is suitable for all involved.

@gloriela86:  The Catholic Church requires those getting married in the church to go through pre-marital programs that vary by diocese. So if they are unwilling to do that, cross Catholic churches off the list.
