We saw a mouse, large one, must be the mommy or daddy about a week ago in one of the cinemas we were cleaning last week. The walls are fabric, for soundproofing and it was climbing all over the place, we couldn’t catch it. So we let it be.
This morning, we found a baby mouse in the men’s bathroom, we caught this one and my Fiance was going to let it go outside… I said no. We saw the mom or dad last week, this is the baby, they LIVE here in the theatre. You let that baby mouse go outside, it’ll get eaten by a bird, because it doesn’t know how to live outside!
I am certain that there is a mouse family and they eat the popcorn people drop on the floor, and candy, chocolate, nuts, seeds etc…. I think they would be safer inside than outside.
What do you Bees think?

Really? Don’t just put it outside, kill it! I would call an exterminator, or tell the people who own it to call! Mice reproduce five to ten times a year, with five or six in each litter. Besides being a health hazard (poop, fleas, diseases) they can easily overrun a place. It’s cute that you like them, but please don’t let people in a public building with a mouse problem.

Mice are not cute, especially in a movie theater. I think that as an employee it’s your responsibility to inform management of the pest problem so they can call in an exterminator. I’m glad you find mice cute, but I don’t and I would flip the eff out on you, management and anyone else at that theater if a freaking mouse crawled on me while I was watching a movie. JMHO.

Mice (just like any pests) pose lots of health risks and should be handled professionally. As an employee, you have a responsibility to notify management.
What if the health department visited and management found out that you were aware of (and assisting in) the infestation?

@GoldfishPie: I’ll e-mail them today with it.

They’re putting out mouse traps everywhere….

This is why I cant put my feet on the floor in a movie theatre! I KNOW there are mice all over the place! I dont put my purse on the floor, either!

I think mice are cute but not in the theater…i ever soo wish we all could co habitate together…but we cannot…

The problem is…the mice pose a significant issue for the business of the theater. Patrons don’t want to sit in a place inhabited by a mouse family, that’s sure to only grow and overrun the building.

I would die if I saw a rodent in the movie theatre.lol

Most places would be shut down for rodents running around. This is why I always check DineSafe (food inspection rating) before eating at new places. Rodents on the floor = rodents in my food.
