I didn’t purchase there, but I did look there. To be honest, I found their prices ridiculously high and their service not that great. My jeweler in NYC was amazing and the difference in the type of service we received there was huge.

I couldn’t tell you specifically about Tacori. Generally, their settings were more expensive than other places we looked, even when I was looking at the same designers. The biggest difference in price, though, was the diamonds. Those seemed insanely marked up. I went there because they sold Tacori, but I was not necessarily sold on Tacori and it did not seem worth it to pay the extra cost there, so we moved on. What are you looking for and what is your budget?

hannahrahn:  have you considered H L Gross & bro. In Long Island ? (Aka since1910.com).  They are a tacori blue partner meaning they have a quick turn around time and a large selection.  My bf and I almost bought off their website but chose a lcoal tacori dealer instead. I haven’t been there in person since we live in FL but they seemed pretty reputable as a tacori dealer from my research.

hannahrahn:  Very pretty. I would agree with the above poster.  I would compare the prices at Michael C. Fina to H&L Gross. They list their prices online, so you can get an idea of what the price for the setting is. It would come in under your budget.  I’ve heard great things about them, so if you can get it for cheaper there, I think its definitely worth the trip out to Long Island.

I got. My Tacori setting from H. L. Gross during a trunk show. They were fantastic and Fiance saved about $1200 on the setting. They also mailed the setting to us at home so we didn’t have to pay taxes on it because we don’t live in NY and they have an online store front. Then we brought it back to them to set the stone.
