Well im getting married in April next year and am pretty unhappy with my current weight – around 95kg! I want to look amazing on my wedding day and althought I already have my dress and it looks great on I really want to work at loosing weight before the big day! even if it costs me in alterations!
Im not great with excercising (lack the motivation, and its too cold) but find I do really well in classes like spin or step! Iv become addicted to watching The Biggest Loser and since we are behind a bit here in NZ we just finished the biggest loser families and it really has motivated me to do something about it. Today I signed up for Michelle Bridges (one of the trainers) 12 week body transformation programme. It has some great reviews and is all internet based learning. It could be a fad im not sure but im super excited to start. The 12 week programme doesnt start until 27 August but they have some pre season warm up stuff on the website. Would anyone be interested in joining this with me? Id love to have others to get motivation from that are also doing it for an upcoming wedding! x

i have five months and a little to loose, only 5 kgs, still it is hard. my Boyfriend or Best Friend has been doing MB. she has made me some of the recipes and they are fab! i think it is awesome, i may or may not join, still deciding as it is $200 i dont really have. she said by paying the fee it makes you stick to it even more. all the best

Sorry for the late replys I kind of forgot about this thread! Its going great, its week 4 now and im down around 6kgs. I had a rough week last week as iv started getting shin splints so I cant run at the moment so my loss this week was a bit disappointing as Iv been trying to rest my legs. Besides that its great, feel pretty good with all the healthy eating (the meal plans are delicious)! I think even if you only have a small amount to loose its worth it, iv learnt alot so far about eating and excercising right and its becoming a real lifestyle change rather than just another ‘diet’

I did this program! I finished round three about four weeks ago. Over the 12 weeks I lost about 7.5kgs, which was way more than I expected.
Since finishing, I have lost almost another 1kg, just by sticking to the eating habits (although I have been much more relaxed, which is why it is a bit slower!)
Hope it is working for you too, and the shin splints are OK. She does say that weight loss is 80% what you eat, and I found in the last two weeks I did very little exercise as I had a sore knee, but still lost weight as I stuck to the eating plan really well.
