spendabuck85 :  (I have been a little posting happy with the star ruby surprised) Alas yes. She gets it next week. I am a bad person. I want to keep it.

What does the side of your ring look like?

spendabuck85 :  I love old rings. I know the reasons to get a new ring, but old ones have a diffrent feel. Drool. The patina on the halo is perfection. I would also wear it every day. Do you want to share it with me? wink

it’s absolutely beautiful! I’m obsessed with rubies and also absolutely love antique rings! they just have such a different and alluring aesthetic!! what a great find!

I have an antique edwardian ruby solitaire on it’s way in the mail, I’ll post a pic when it arrrives! I have a new lab ruby and titanium e-ring currently, but the titanium is just not matching the gold of my wedding band the way I want it to, so if I like this antique one enough i’ll use it instead! (bought the original e-ring myself, was super cheap, so I have zero sentimentalality or guilt about replacing it haha)

Ukulele4You :

my mom has a blue star sapphire ring! It used to by my grandmas. Her finger is too small for us to share 😂
