- Wedding: July 2012 - Baltimore Museum of Industry
We’re planning on a December honeymoon, and are looking for suggestions in the MD/VA/WV/PA area (short drive from Baltimore) for a 2-3 day mini-moon. We’ve brainstormed the Poconos, Hershey Park (yeah, Chocolate Land!), a vineyard, any B&B recommendations? It’ll be mid-July, so it will be incredibly hot & humid. thanks!

Williamsburg/Busch gardens in VA?
Lancaster, PA for amish country (there are a bunch of tours, etc, I can put you in touch with a food/wine writer I know from that area if you want recommendations)?

@rebwana: you should explore Fallingwater and that area of Pennsylvania. If you’ve never been, it’s a great short getaway. You can see Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, visit area wineries, see beautiful Ohiopyle State Park and more. We’ve been for a mini-vacay there before and are going back for our 2 year anniversary in August. We are staying at The Summit Inn Resort.

New Hope & Bucks County is great for 2-3 days of eating, drinking and window shopping!
