@jaguar:  Maybe that’s just what happens? I think I’ve finally realized that hey, this is NOT IN MY CONTROL. If its going to happen, then great, I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. if its not going to happen, then we’ll reevaluate and go from there. I didn’t even cry when AF showed up this month, I just shrugged it off and kept going. There may have been a drink or two in there, but hey…that’s allowed!

@ecomaha – I went to reply, and then I got your PM haha. For those of you wondering, I ovulate around CD18, so my RE recommended a ‘schedule’ of CD10, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24. That way, I don’t miss ovulation, but we’re not BDing too much either.

Now that I hit my TWW period, I find myself stressing and over analyzing and sort of being obsessed with symptoms and just reading up on everything.  I should’ve ovulated 2 days ago so I BD on the day I got a smiley face on my OPK, then the day after and yesterday as well.  Should we BD again today?  I know I should not do this and I’m trying to stay calm and stress free.  The only symptom I have is sore nipples but I think that I’m just crazy and they might not even be sore or they are just sore after ovulation.  I’m going to try and stay away from the boards as much as I can but I doubt it.  I really hope this our cycle!    Baby dust to everyone πŸ™‚

@patientlywaiting20:  I can totally relate I am on CD16 and still haven’t gotten a smiley face on my OPK yet I have really regular cycles every 29 days but I have never tracked my O just my AF. It’s driving me crazy waiting to O. I know I’m going to be a mess during TWW. I think you should be fine if you don’t BD today but if you want to go ahead. Don’t over analyze and stay away from google in times like these it is not your friend.

@patientlywaiting20:  I know you’re wanting to see signs, we all love that πŸ™‚  But for me at least, I get sore/tender nipples every month after O.  I think those so called ‘signs’ that google gives are so misleading.

Be encouraged by the fact that lots/most women have NO signs before a BFP.  πŸ™‚

@redsmarties:  Yes! I totally agree with you. I don’t drink {well, hardly ever} and we had a big ‘meet the new neighbours’ get together on Sunday, and I indulged in a few glasses of wine without a second’s thought. I was so ridiculous for the first 12 months – cutting out alcohol, caffeine, every second thing, and I’m still not pregnant, so I figure it can’t hurt. Not that I’m going to turn into some crazy drunken coffee drinker, but you’ve got to LIVE while you’re TTC. So, I shall live.

CD9 today, high reading again on the monitor, but no O yet. PLEASE LET ME OVULATE, BABY GODS.

@MarryMeTiffany: I hope you get your smiley face soon!  Or maybe you just missed your smiley face but did O!  I hope you are still doing the BD πŸ™‚  I will try to stay away from Google and let this take it’s course.  whatever is meant to happen will happen.

@ecomha: I think that is it, I want to see signs!!  lol.  I’m going to try to stay away from all the googling and researching and just pray and hope for a great outcome this cycle.  thank you!

@jaguar:

I have a good feeling about this cycle  for you. I’ve followed your story on the IF thread, and you more than deserve a BFP for Valentine’s Day!

On an awesome note, the day I start freaking out about Oing, I O’ed. lol. I’m so glad I took an OPK today, I was ready to give up. Now only three more days of solid BD. HURRAH! Hoping everyone O’s soon so we can get into the TWW together!

I think I’m getting the beginnings of EWCM, but no positive OPK yet. I always panic that I won’t get one on my medicated cycles or that I’ll miss it, but I haven’t missed one yet. We were told to have sex every other day starting CD7 until I got a positive OPK, but after my surgery on CD8, we didn’t again until tonight (CD11). I figure that’s probably OK since I haven’t Oed yet.

@jaguar:  Crossing my fingers for you!

@FutureJessicaMcB:  So glad you caught your O! It was probably just a few days late because of your chemical.

Good thoughts and baby dust to all! <3

Nothing going on over here.  Just BD and trying not to worry about it.

Had to reschedule my RE appt to Feb, which is a totally bummer.  Hoping that my body will surprise me w/ a BFP.

@jaguar:  You are 100% right!  You’ve got to keep living while TTC!  I didn’t cut out wine or caffeine or even the occasional cigarette (Bad Chastenet!) until I got my BFP and I don’t regret it one bit.  Now that I really can’t have those things I don’t want them, but I’m glad I enjoyed myself while I could πŸ™‚  Also: GOOOOO   O!!!!!!!!

@chastenet:  How long did it take you to concieve? Sorry if that’s nosey I’m just curious and ask everyone now that we are trying.

Just took my afternoon OPK and got a big fat negative again. Taking another at 8pm hopefully I get my smiley face. My CM is now slippery and wet. Hoping it will be the start of EWCM. Does anyone know what type of CM you have before you get the EWCM?

@MarryMeTiffany:  I got a BFP on our 2nd cycle trying but that ended in a m/c.  Post m/c it took us 3 cycles to conceive again.  Even with the painful experience of a m/c I consider us pretty lucky to have been successful so quickly, I definitely do not take it for granted!
