I’m curious where everyone is honeymooning! What are you plans? Have you booked? Is it in the air? What are you looking most for in a honeymoon?

Moorea and Bora Bora!! Our honeymoon is already booked. Most important was trip of a lifetime!
We’re going to Destin, FL for a week. I’m ready to just sit on the beach for a week and soak in being a newlywed! Next year we’re going to St Lucia for our anniversary and I’m stoked!
We’re cruising for 8 days out of Baltimore and up the coast to Maine and Canada…we are not tropical vacation kind of people, so I’m excited for some hoodie and jean shorts weather and our first cruise.
We are skipping a honeymoon and using the money for a new house.
I’m sure we’ll take some type of trip for one of our anniversaries. ..
We’re planning on an all inclusive resort in Cancun, but haven’t decided which one – one of the adults only resorts for sure though. Our main priority is to relax and unwind and not have to worry about anything.
We are going to Puerta Neuvo, Mexico. 5 days and 6 nights and I can’t wait. I think sometimes I am more excited about the honeymoon then the wedding, lol. We booked the resort with our Timeshare and then paid off the all inclusive in advance and saved 10%. Then I watched the plane tickets like a hawk and they finally went on sale a few weeks ago. I feel I am just looking forward to relaxing as man and wife. My Fiance and I love to travel and because of the wedding we had to cut our year short of traveling. So this honeymoon is a well needed vacation. I would like to plan an excursion or 2 during that week but its an all inclusive resort so I think we will be fine just relaxing on the beach, with a drink in our hands.
We got married Nov 12 last year and went to Park City. It was a gamble, as it’s right on the edge of ski season, but there were a few resorts open and we got to go skiing ๐ Our hotel was AWESOME and very reasonable because ski season hadn’t officially started. There weren’t that many people staying there due to the timing, but that was nice also. We had a full moon, snow and the hottub in the courtyard all to ourselves.
We’ve already been on our honeymoon, but we went during November. We went to Sandals in Nassau and had a great time. The first 3 days had bad weather due to Hurricane Tomas, but the rest of the trip was great weather!
Fiance refuses to go anywhere tropical, or on a boat (he works on boats). So we found a Groupon for Ireland, and we booked it! The whole shebang includes a full breakfast each morning, car rental for a week, and lodging at 3 star hotels/18th century manors/a castle for a week for $895/person.
Flights were $720/person.
Sounded like a deal to me!
@Alip22: Taking a cruise, New England/Canada we leave out of Boston October 21st!
we went on a 10 day cruise to eastern caribbean – st thomas, dominican republic, puerto rico, and haiti
Going to Maldives – 8 nights
3 flights & a speedboat to get there – we’ll be traveling for about 28 hours to get there and 26 to get home! fun fun fun! lol
