Hello Bees. My mid-production pictures are in from Jasmine’s Bridal Shop. I have to admit to stalking these threads with their beautiful dresses for months to keep myself entertained until they came lol. Anyways, I would love to have your opinions or suggestions on any changes that may need to be made. My gown is inspired by Allure C230. Here is the original dress:
A picture of me in the gown(not zipped up all the way in the back):
AND here are some pics of the Jasmine’s version:
I really like it so far but I do have a couple of minor concerns.
1) On the back of the dress on the left side, it looks a bit uneven. It could just be the way the pins are holding it up in comparison to the right side.
2) The shape of the dress on the front looks a little funny to me, specifically when the dress starts to flare out. It seems kind of tight around the leg area and the original doesn’t seem to really do that as much. It could just be because it’s completely fitted to the mannequin. However I’m just a little concerned about how the fit will be.
3) The left side under arm looks like it may be sticking out a little in comparison to the right side and also may be sitting a little lower.
Sorry about the size of the pics, I’m still new to this. That’s it Bees. I do think that once they do the beading it will be amazing. 🙂

Looks great so far!
Other then what you pointed out, the V neckline seems wider on te jasmines one, not as steep a V if that makes sense.

Gorgoues dress!!! I can’t wait to see it when its finished 🙂

@chocolate_rose_angel: Overall the dress looks fantastic.
1 & 3 are only due to the way the dress has been pinned to the mannequin. If you have a look at the right strap it’s sitting lower on the mannequin shoulder, but mention it to James so you get clarification, best to raise these issues in the mid production pictures.
2 That is a tricky one. The only thing I can suggest is that you ask James to give the measurement of the most narrow part of the dress on the thighs and compare the measurement to your thighs.

Yes now that you’ve pointed that out I can see it. Thank you. I may see if I can have them lower it just a little, but I’m not sure. I don’t want it to mess up the neckline. I’m sure Jasmine’s would be able to handle it though. 😀
Thank you so much. I’m super excited to see it too. 🙂
Thank you very much. 🙂

Ok Thank you hiheel. I will ask James to double check the measurements for me and then check again on myself. I really appreciate it. 🙂

I would agree that picture you have provided and the mid production photo appear to be dead on I also think maybe the hip area might need to be checnull but comparing it to your photo of the actually dress it lines up
