You should use pan flutes for something.

Cool idea for a wedding theme! I love it!!! ( ihope it’s a night-wedding)

I have a few ideas for you:

First of all, a big part of that play is the fairy kingdom, so I would make sure that you use fairies in some way (hope your Fiance can handle this…. I know mine wouldnt be able to!) You could have a fairy somewhere in your logo? Or you could use them for favors? I would use sparklers at some point, if you’re having a send-off. And fairylights are an absolute must! The more the better I’d say. And little lanterns haning from trees if there are any. I’m hoping this is an outdoor wedding (that would be a must in my opinion, at least the reception).

Also love potions! You should have a candy buffet, but instead of the names of the candies, you could make up things they do to you (turn you into a donkey, make you fall in love with a donkey, be creative here, remember in the play the fairies are always playing tricks on each other and on mortals.)Maybe for a favor you could have a tiny bottle of … (???something) and have it labeled “love-potion”.

There are also a lot of great famous lines, particularly, “what fools these mortals be” but I would search for others. You could put that line somewhere, on a banner or a sign, or even in the program. Also the very last speech of the play “If we shadows have offended…” is lovely, you could include the whole quote in the last page of the program.

As for colors I would do pinks, purples, and silver. However, it does take place in a forest, so browns and greens would work well too. I would use lots of feathers, in your bouquet, on the cake, they add an other-worldy feel. And I would sprinkle glitter on the tables. If you have a flower girl, she absolutely must be dressed as a fairy (wings and all) it would be so perfect! King and queen of the fairies as cake topper?

Anyway, I’m sure it’ll be great! Have fun!
