Darling Husband & I have narrowed down some names, but we are having trouble with middle names.
Orriginally, he had told me he liked the name Batholomew (after the Flash, his favorite comic). I was completely against it at first, and we jokingly told my mom that we had chosen it. Her reaction was hilarious (It’s too many sylables, baby won’t be able to spell it, I’m not going to remember it, etc.). None of these really bothered me. We would likely call him Barry, which is super easy to remember and spell. My little cousin’s name is Harrison and he had no trouble learning to spell it, so even if we went with Bartholomew, I’m not too worried. The more we joked about baby Bartholomew, the more I fell in love with the name.
Well, joke’s on me. Darling Husband was joking with me and he’s not 100% sold on the name. He would much rather Tyrion. I think he likes it, because it shares the same root as his name (both start with Tyr). I’m not 100% on board with Tyrion. I’m hoping that finding middle names that flow with these two names will help us make a choice. It’s really early for this, but I’ve been thinking of the baby as Bartholomew in my head without meaning to, so if that’s not going to be the name, I need to stop that habbit.
Any suggestions for middles names? Our last name is Linton, so it would be:
- Bartholomew *MN* Linton
- Tyrion *MN* Linton
We have both really fallen in love with these names, please remember that if they’re not your cup of tea.
