heirofslytherin:  One of my cousin’s little girl’s name is Carolena Grace. They also call her Cara most of the time.

heirofslytherin:  I know a Carolina (pronounced the same way as you plan to pronounce your daughter’s name, and her nickname is Caro also.) 🙂

I second Carolina Isabel, Carolina Isabella, Carolina Bella, Carolina Lucia or Carolina Luisa – those are all beautiful. I grew up in bilingual Miami, so I automatically think the Spanish pronunciation, but my husband is from South Carolina, so he would never think that off the bat! I love the name Carolina (both pronunciations, and if we ever have a little girl that will be her name, but pronounced like the state – it was also my grandmother’s middle name)

rjay:  Carolina Leigh is our baby girl name choice! 🙂

Carolina sounded very southern to me, until I read your pronunciation. I was thinking “June” for a middle name. Google says it is Junio in Spanish. Does the pronunciation differ greatly? I’m not sure how it sounds in Spanish.
