It’s your baby’s name that you and her have to live with your whole life, you should name her what you want. That being said, I still would do what I told my grandma, but that’s just me.

I think Sawyer Lee is pretty! But then again my baby girl is named Rose so I’m biased there.

I love naming babies after people.  We’re naming our baby after both of our moms.

Would you consider Sawyer Leigh?  That way, the name is the same, but the spelling is a little more feminine.

Leigh is a pretty girly spelling. or what about rosalee/rosalie?

I definitely think that you should spell it Leigh if you decide to go that route, but I also think Rose sounds really good with it as well

I agree with PP’s idea of combining Lee with another name.  That way you can have the best of both worlds 🙂

Rosalie would be beautiful, definitely feminine, and keep your grandmother’s name.  So pretty!

Since Sawyer is so masculine, I would use a name like Katherine or something very girly for the middle name.

I wouldnt say Sawyer is ‘so’ masculine – I definitly think it can go either way. I am on the Rosalie (spelling optional) boat … only because one of the most fantastic people I know in real life is named Rosalie .

I like both suggestions of “Leigh” or “Rosalie.” Sawyer is a great name!

There’s also the option of giving her two middle names. I know a lot of people who have done that in the last few years.

I don’t think Sawyer Rosalee is too much. In fact, I like it better than just Sawyer Lee or Sawyer Rose.
