My husband and I very early on decided that if our baby was a girl, we wanted to name her Adrianna. Now that we know our little one is in fact a girl, we are having a hard time with deciding on her middle name. I’ve thought of maybe using my middle name ‘Marie’ or using ‘Christine’ since it is my Mother-In-Law name, includes Mr. Zapper’s first name, and part of my maiden name. I’m not sure if we are sold on these combos yet. Any other suggestions?

I love Marie. It’s the middle name of the 70’s.
I wanted to name my daughter Georgia Raine, but Darling Husband wanted to name her Georgia Grace ( for his grandmother) I did NOT want to use Grace because everybody and their own granny’s are using that as a middle name these days, but there are some battles not worth fighting, and a tribute to grandmom falls under the no battle categorey.
So anyway I think Adrianna Raine is very pretty. You can use my dream middle name. LOL.

Nicole? Elizabeth? Rose? Mae? LOL…

Aww! My middle name is Adriana, and I have always wanted to name a daughter that – and Fiance has several nieces with the middle name Marie – after his mom. So I am totally sold on Adrian(n)a Marie!

I like the two choices you have right now, Marie and Christine. Both work well with Adrianna. Yes, you might find another name you like a little better, but would it hold the same meaning for you? I like the idea of the middle name having a connection with other family members. For me, the only choice would be which one of the two to use.

I’m partial to Marie because it’s my middle name 🙂
But I also like Adrianna Michelle. I might be partial to that as well because it’s my sister’s name though… Maybe Adrianna Elise?

I like Adrianna Christine. I am a big fan of middle names with family connections/meanings.
Also, the other middle name test I always perform is yelling the full name out quickly. When your little girl is misbehaving and you call her by her full name you want it to be easy to say 🙂

I’m partial to Marie since that’s my little girl’s middle name. It’s kinda common but it always flows so well.

My mother’s name is Adriana, great choice.
We have a family custom where the girl is given the middle name of the mother’s maternal grandmother. My mother’s middle name isn’t that great. hehe.
I tend to find “marie” overused, as pretty as it is. I’m fond of Adriana Rae.

Thank you all for your feedback! There are some great options but I do agree that its nice for the middle name to have a family connection so I may stick with one of my original ideas 😉 Thanks also for the positive feedback on the name! Nice to know there are already great women out there sharing it!

I like Christine, because it’s a little less common of a middle name.
