I’m in the camp that thinks one of the two names should be simple/one syllable. You don’t want your kid to run out of spaces to write their name on every form they ever fill out.

my top picks for boy middle names are James and Lee. They’re family names for us but they’ve always been classic choices to me.

How long is your last name? In the meantime, some shorter & more unique (compared to James) options I like..

Since the first name will be 4 syllables, and your last name is 2 syllables, I would probably just do a single syllable middle name. My son’s middle name is Alexander, first name is 2 syllables, last name is 1 syllable. I think it flows together quite nicely.

Love the name Alexander!  My name is Alexandra and after I was given the name Ali, someone asked me why I didn’t go by Xandra.  So I like the nickname you have picked out.

Some that I think sound great together are…

Alexander Jameson

Alexander Jax

Alexander Finn

Alexander Rowan

Alexander Ashby

Alexander Judson

Alexander Emerson

juliette.eliza:  I think 3 syllabus is too long but I would have to hear it with the last name. I like Alexander James. It flows well. Few more I like..
