My Husband and I have chosen the first names of our first born boy and girl (currently pregnant, not sure of sex yet).
For a girl, Adele (not really after the singer…we just love that name. And also Husband is french so I am taking advantage of that haha)
For a boy, Theodore.
We can not figure out middle names that are unique! Open to anything! We both love Mozart, whose name was Amadeus…french male version is Amadé (ah-mah-day) but I think Theodore Amadé is a bit much haha.
Thanks In Advance Bees 🙂

It really depends on your surname – off the top of my head:

Huh. I actually really like Theodore Amade but then again I really love French names. Why do you think it’s too much–too formal? I imagine Theodore will probably go by Theo or Teddy anyway.

I would pick Theodore Louis and Adele Mazarine. I really wanted to name our daughter Mazarine, but my husband wasn’t wild about it.

My cousin had a daughter in April and named her Adele Rose (they call her Addie)!

I like Adele Marie! Adele Mae is also pretty. I love Theodore and would add one of my favorite French names: Theodore Roman. Or Theodore Luc?
Got any good family names on his side?

It’s the oldest library in France! Also, a French girl’s name, but not a super common one.

My daughter’s middle names are Adele Grace, so that’s my pick, haha. If you’re into french names, Adele Marie is simple and pretty (FI’s grandmother is Adele Marie-Claire).
I actually really like Theodore Amade. It’s unique without being over the top and, really, how often is anyone actually going to call him by his full name?

Ugh someone said Adele Sophia and that just sounds like the most precious angel on earth.
