I never got a positive but I would have BD’d every day. We BD’s every other day because we weren’t sure of when I was ovulating.

@picturemeurs:  I am sure I always heard to do the deed the day of a positive OPK, the day (or two?) following, skip a day and then once more for good measure. πŸ™‚ Did you get your almost + with FMU? I am thinking of doing OPK’s again this cycle with FMU and one around 6/7pm, has anyone else done it this way and had good results?

ETA: there is no such thing as Too Much Information on these boards! πŸ™‚

@picturemeurs- I took them every day for 7 months and never got a line that was even close to a positive. But I’m pregnat so I’m assuming I just had a really short surge,

When we got pregnant, my doctor said to BD every other day. We actually BD two days in a row because I got two positive OPKs in a row and we were horny. I don’t know which BD session led to our pregnancy, but it worked either way.

@roxy821:  WOW! I have totally never heard of that! You may have just convinced me to stick with my original plan of not using OPK’s this month. That is so interesting!

@picturemeurs:  I’d BD tonight anyway, why not. As I’ve said before “the more stuff up the hoo-ha, the better!” LOL. If you get a + OPK tomorrow you can continue the BD train. You could always do something like tonight, tomorrow night (or Sunday first thing instead) to get the timing closer to every other day, while not missing too much. πŸ™‚

Good luck!

If I saw a positive OPT I’d say to BD every day for the next 3/4 days if possible! πŸ™‚ But failing that every other day.

Tho like others have said I know OPTs don’t work for everyone so BDing every 2-3 days is also a good strategy.

Just re-read your question – yes, also good idea to BD tonight, in anticipation of O! πŸ˜‰
