I think it’s lovely and it certainly could be the one, but if you haven’t really tried many on yet, I’d try on a few more just to be sure.  You may find that none of the others are as good and then you will know, but if there’s no rush yet then you may as well have a look around.

I love the back, it’s gorgeous.  I haven’t voted as I’m not sure, it’s lovely but I think you should look at a few more anyway.

It’s lovely, but you should definitely try on some more to be sure. Sometimes the first shopping experience is so exciting that the emotions take over and you love the dress in teh moment more than you will in the next six months. Just look around the boards and you’ll see countless posts from girls with dress regret who purchased too quickly.

If this is your dress, it’s not going anywhere. Go to a few more shops and then decide.

It’s really beautiful and looks great on you, but I also vote for looking more – if you see yourself still thinking about this dress and comparing every dress to it, then I think you have your answer.  The all-lace look is very popular and you might end up finding something even more flattering, while still having the same or similar look.

I think it’s nice and pretty flattering, but it’s hard to say without any comparisons.    I feel like something with a wider waistband to add more emphasis to the smallest part of your waist would be lovely.  And maybe a skirt with a bit more ‘umph’ to balance out with the girls.

First off, congrats on losing 31 pounds! That is a seriously impressive number!

I think you should keep looking. I love the lace, I love the sleeves, but the epire waist is doing absolutely nothing for you!

And after working SO hard to lose all that weight, you should have a dress that flatters you!

I’m going to say, ‘keep looking’ and here is why.

Although the dress is beautiful I feel that you can get something that would add more dimension to your shape. I hope I’m explaining this correctly, something that willl hug you more and show off your shape that I think is hiding underneath this dress.

It’s a very pretty dress but I think you should keep looking.

the things I like about the dress on you:

The straps in front and The sweetheart neckline, the lace detail

The things that I think you should look for in the next dress:

An open back, it just looks too constricted and a little dash of back skin is sexy but still modest. The waist line to be at the natural waist instead of just under you bust. I would also try on something that’s a little more fitted through your hips

I voted “keep looking” in part because its just not a style I love, I don’t really like the visible seams in the skirt lining, so if you like the style, take my vote with a grain of salt. But also I think you can find something more flattering. i think the silver waist is good but I think a thicker band would be much more flattering. I’d also like to see what a wider neckline would look like on you.

That sees, while lovely, does not do anything for your figure! I think u can do better! Keep looking!

@soontobehisbride:  I voted to keep looking. I keep getting distracted by those two front seams and back seams that are making the fabric pucker a bit. I don’t like visible seams. I also agree with PPs that the empire style isn’t really working. At least with this dress, it’s doing nothing to emphasize your waist and so it looks a little big/boxy.

This looks like a Davids Bridal, is it? You may want to try some bridal boutiques instead of a chain store. The quality of dresses is much higher and you should still be able to find something in your price range.

I voted “keep looking” – not because this dress isn’t lovely, but because your wedding is still well over a year away and you haven’t shopped around much. Spend the next 1-2 months going to a few different places trying on gowns of different shapes and sizes. This one will still be there if you still love it the most!

I think the top of this dress is pretty, but the cut of the rest of the dress is not doing you justice. I vote keep looking 🙂
