i don’t know, because this is my first cycle of BCP, but i can tell you i had mild cramping last week and through the weekend and i THINK i O’d yesterday, so for me the cramping started a few days before O and then continued up to O.  but, in my case it could also have been going off BCP, as i know the first cycle can be weird.  not sure that was very helpful, sorry!

How long are your cycles typically?  Not knowing more details, I would say it’s soon for you to be O, but most likely this weekend =)

I always knew when I ovulated because it was always painful. Is this the norm for you? I didn’t have cramping, it was an actual pain. I associate cramping with periods.

I always got cramps 3 times: the week before AF, during AF, and the week after AF. I literally only had like a week of being cramps-free, even when I was on the pill.  Three days after AF stopped is probably too early for O, although it’s not impossible.  Do you have any other ovulation signs? (Stretchy cervical fluid, high/soft/open cervix) If you aren’t checking for these, might be worth it to start so you can be more aware of when you do O.  Charting your temps is awesome, but it will only tell you after you have ovulated, not before.  Also, it is normal for your temps to drop down more after AF, that is a good sign, but unless it is accompanied by other ovulation signs, you still might have a while to go.  If you don’t want to get that into things yet by checking cervical fluid/position, just pay attention to how you feel “down there” throughout the day.  As you get close to O, you should feel wetter down there.  Good luck! 🙂

@ANewMrs:  I agree it totally is.  But in the last few months TTC, its become a bit of a hobby for me.  When I was doing online dating I always stressed about not having a hobby.  Guess I should TTC earlier so I looked a bit more extracurricular.  Haha
