I was going to suggest army posts too! Or you could do the alphabet.

alpha. bravo. charlie. delta. echo. foxtrot. golf. hotel. india. etc.

I was gonna suggest Army posts too. Just don’t forget Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. I spent the toughest 8 weeks of my life there. LOL.

Other really cool posts are Ft. Shafter, HI and Ft. Buchanan, PR.

Make me the next one who was going to suggest Army posts while I was reading your post.

I would pick posts that were meaningful to your Fiance, his buddies and perhaps their Dads if they served in the military.

Posts could be fun.

@Mrs. Menard to Be : has a great idea, and if you wanted it to be more subtle, you wouldn’t even have to go in order (depending on the size of your wedding, too), just pull your favorites.  Maybe Romeo for a sweetheart table?  πŸ˜‰

If you wanted to do something visual, maybe labling with the unit insignia for the units he’s been assigned to.  Depending on how far into his career he is, that might not be enough – but maybe you have parents or grandparents you could honor that way.

We picked important places for our relationship, so a lot where places (bases, etc) he’s been or places I’ve gone to visit him, but we also included where we went on our first date and other romatic stuff. We have 13 tables, and the sweetheart table.

we did area landmarks, including the Iwo Jima memorial….we used black and white photographs of them in frames.  Maybe you can find old school pictures of the bases entry gates?  I also like the alphabet idea – that’s very cute.

also, love the unit patch on the boquet idea.  I used my husband’s old pair of dress blue pants around my flowers.  It’s the subtle touches of service in a wedding that are the best and I think that little touch would be great.

i think alphabet would be best πŸ™‚

i think it would be a little awkward having bases (if youve never lived there) as the table settings…

hope you figure something out soon!!!!

congrats!!!
