It’s very hard to plan anything. I can’t even tell you the amount of times Darling Husband has been told that he would have to be there even though his leave had already been approved. Unfortunately, they won’t make an exception for a wedding. He can put in for leave of course, but they won’t say “Since it is a wedding, it is a definite yes.” And there is no guarantee that they won’t tell him to be in anyway. 

I wish I could have brought better news cry Every unit is different though, some are more family friendly and some are more flexible than others. I will send you all my good luck and keep my fingers crossed that you can make it work the way you want it to!

I’m not military, but my brother and Brother-In-Law both are.  My understanding is that when they’re in tech school, there basically isn’t leave.  Wedding or not, you’ll likely have a hard time planning anything while he’s there.
