Hi Bees! We are coming up on our last cycle to TTC before DH deploys for the next 6 months! Are any of you in the same boat as I am? Or have you been here before? It seems like everyone I know is having a baby or is already pregnant and I was wondering how you all cope knowing that you have to wait so long to continue trying again?

I’m not in your position, but Fx for you that this will be your cycle. That would be great as then your DH should definitely be home by the time LO is born!

I hear ya! DH I are both in the military, but I don’t deploy. We were originally waiting to TTC in September when he is back from sea and I’m back from my course in August but we decided to give it a go the last cycle before he leaves. I’m 3DPO now and if we don’t get this one I most likely have to wait until September.
I’m lucky in that he doesn’t for too long. He leaves soon for 2 and a half months but I’ll see him over a few weekends, and who knows, maybe we’ll get lucky and I’ll be in my fertile window!

Yes I can relate 🙁 FI and I are a LDR, so that’s worse. We’ve tried to conceive three times already, with no luck. He’s here on leave now for two weeks, the last time I’ll see him before he deploys in July. This is our last chance for at least a year. It’s truly a mission all on its own.We want a family so bad, and it’s so difficult. And it truly does seem like everyone else is getting pregnant 🙁 .

@Utopia4us: Thanks for the FX! We are hoping!
@NewfieBullet: That is a short deployment!! But ours ins’t super long for the mil world either, I still consider us lucky! Good luck and FX!
@Christina0828: That does seem worse!! I hope this time is your chance! We want a family really badly, too, and I was just convinced that it would happen right away! Good luck and don’t get discouraged!

Yea, I, felt the same. Thinking it’ll just happen on the first try. Nope 🙁 But the timing is right this time, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Yep! My husband and I are in your same situation! We are both military, and this is our last cycle “live” before he deploys. However, as I am receiving infertility treatments, he banked sperm, so if this cycle is a wash (fx it’s not, I think that this is our cycle!), I will continue on with IUI’s.
