Lol, “even Texas.”

As a military bride-to-be (Army, too!), I’ve been thinking about this, too!

I think you did a great job on describing the places the Army can take a family without being too specific, like you mentioned, and you weren’t negative! I liked it very much. 🙂

If you don’t want to use confidence, you could say you want to be a source of constant encouragement?

Maybe strength is a good word to use? Or strength to presevere through trying times to keep our life on track? I defintely know what you’re trying to say! I’m a milspouse as well, but we used the traditional vows.

@AutumnElegance:  I totally understand about Texas! I haven’t changed it on my profile yet, but we’re getting married next winter and we’re heading to San Antonio because he’s going to the PA program there! It’s better than Fort Bragg, though. Anything’s better than Fort Bragg. x.x

Hmm…well, what you could say is something along the lines of that he’ll always have a warm, loving home to come back to…or that he can always count on you to hold your head up high and take care of his heart and home when he’s away…

Hmm. I’m still thinking!

I decided to write my vows last night and I sent my Fiance an email letting him know that is what I think we should do because the traditional vows dont describe our relatiionship. I finished them and I am quite proud. I sent a copy to my wedding planner and my girlfriend and they loved them.
