Hi! I am in Canada and I bought my Milla Nova dress (the Kara) about a month ago for my wedding which is 12 months away. I tried on 7 Milla Nova dresses, though the one I had my eyes on from the beginning was the Kara.

The dresses are stunning, they fit me perfectly (I am 5’10, I have a chest, and I am a street size 2-4. Milla Nova dress is a size 38)

I paid approx $2000  CAD for the dress (which was an apparent sale) and I bought it from Blushing Bridal Boutique in Woodbridge (20 mins North of Toronto) I know they do online orders as well, but I would recommend if you can to go and try the dress on, or at least one of similar style.

Katherine McNaughton :  hi Katherine,  🙂

may you please send over your pictures to my email [email protected] if you do not mind sharing of course. I live in Dubai and there are no official Millanova retailers in this part of the world so I will probably have to order it online and keep my fingers crossed that it turns out like I imagine. I am particularly interested in Jeneva dress

thanks in advance!

Hey! So I have ordered my milla nova dress and going to pick it up in a month. But I realized I don’t know much about the brand. Anyone know where the designer is from? And where in Europe they are made? I haven’t tried one on because they don’t sell them in my country  so if anyone who has tried one on it could tell me about the material that would be much appreciated. If the store I ordered from works out I’ll let you all know.:)

scandicbride :  what country?

congrats on successful dress shopping! They are made in the Ukraine, but are available all over Europe, United States, Canada, snd Asia. The designer is also ukrainian. I tried on quite a few and the material is beautiful:) depends on the style of skirt, you may need that expanding thing under the skirt part of the dress for volume. These dresses are not heavy snd burdened with material, but need that underskirt. Good luck!

Katherine McNaughton : hi Katherine, I am travelling down to the Swindon shop in May I am worried the dress I have my heart set on isn’t as it seems on the site. I have a feeling the material won’t look as good. I know you mentioned some photographs you had taken, I know this is cheeky but could I see how they look in real life please xx

Hi! I just purchased a Milla Nova dress and I am very impressed with the material. I do not think it is the most expensive and coutoure material, but the deatil work  (beading and embrodery) is just amazing. It also fit like a glove and I order it online! So yes.. Im super happy. There are some pretty detailed pictures of the Milla Nova Briana dress with train on “pre owned weddingsdresses . com” (search up the dress). I also added the webadress but not sure if it gets sensured away.  https://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/view/226273/Milla-Nova-Briana-Size-6

hi! i purchased my milla nova dress in february and it should be sent to me in june! i live in california but decided to fly out to chicago to try on dresses. they give you a discount if you’re flying out of state! the discount the boutique gave me was enough to cover my flight so that was a plus for me. my parents live in chicago so it was a win win. i decided to go with the kryzanta dress, it was the first wedding dress i EVER tried on and i bought it, didnt bother try on anything else, i knew it was the one. for ladies living on the westcoast, viero bridal opened a sister store in las vegas in feb 2018. wouldve been way more convenient for me to go there instead but they didnt open until 2-3 weeks after i bought my dress.

Keeping this post alive! I’m in love with the Millanova Amalia gown and would love to see a single photo a real bride in it! I’ve only come across photos of the dress in the single model that appears on their site listing.

Any feedback on Millanova in general would be great!

Hey,

I’ve ordered a Milla Nova gown from the Swindon UK shop. I can honestly say their collection is beautiful, it’s the only shop I went into and felt like their dresses were different to any other.

A few disappointments though: There are some dresses I tried on that weren’t as I expected- for example. they looked more dramatic and bigger in photos but when I tried them on, they were flatter and more flowy. Still nice dresses but just different.

However, the majority did look like the pictures and were good quality. I think I tried on the Amalia gown but don’t have any photos of it- From what I remember it just didn’t really flatter me and was a bit straighter than the photo looks. It might suit you well though.

I tried on the Betti gown from the White Desire collection, which is quite similar to the Amalia.

I eventually ordered the Djanet dress which is pretty much exactly how it looks in the pic, except the material is shinier than I expected.
