Ughhh, I decided to go through Milly bridal to get my dress after hearing some great reviews about it, and seeing the it was (supposedly) faster than ordering a dress, and fit my tiny budget. However, I am starting to wonder if it was a bad idea. I submitted a request for a quote on my dress at the start of Jan., I recieved an e-mail with a quote and a time frame of 25-30 days till I would get pics of the test dress. I ordered my dress on 1/25. I did see on their website that the lead time for dresses ordered during this time period would increase to 45 days. So, I have been trying to be patient. Yesterday wehn talking with customer service about a fabric upgrade I inquired as to when I’d get the pics (being about 10 days away from the 45 days). I was kinda given the rin around and no answer, after some pushing she dropped the bomb that the lead time for my time of order was 75 DAYS! I politely corrected her and pasted the announcement from the homepage… she said this only applied to dresses on their website and not custom dresses. This is a fair answer, but nobody ever told me this! I am so frustrated now, this adds at least another month if not more onto the process. I won’t even see the 1st test dress till April, and then may not be done making changes till May! My wedding is in July and this is just pushing it for me. I am so frusterated and want to do something about it, bt am not sure what to do. I am mad that they did not make this clear, and /or are changing things on me. Anyone else have any expirience with them, or advice? Right now I don’t think I would reccommend this route to other brides, far too stressful!
