When a mistress marries her lover she creates a vacancy to be filled.

I’d stay away from all these people and hope they get what’s coming to them.

I’d forward the second message you received from him, too.

achicago :  I’m confused by the second text he sent you… its like he’s replying to a text? Or is that just a follow up text because he didn’t get an answer to the first one?

achicago :  I’m so curious to see what response you will get. If he sent any other messages, I’d find it hard not to write back and say “You’re texting the wrong number, dipshit.”

And, if your friend continues not to write back, then I’d send her the other message he sent you and say “I’m guessing he wasn’t hacked. He just remains a piece of shit, huh? Let me know if you need me.”

She may not respond back for a while, if ever.

She’s most likely in shock and feeling deeply humiliated and unsure of what to do. It’s kinda one of those things where the person responds right away in a fit of rage, or they shut down until they can deal with it.

I think it was the right move to pretend that you thought he was hacked. That way she can decide for herself whether she wants to share the details with other people – especially since the message was so graphic and degrading.

I didn’t even see the post with the second text…..

This guy is a moron.  I would have a hard time not messing with him, but it’s probably best to just ignore.  Save the texts for evidence in case your friend wants them.

If your friend responds that her husband has not been “hacked” (let’s be real here, we all know he’s a skeeve) – send her this

I would not message the guy back.

What if your friend wants to get her ducks in a row to finally leave him? She might need time to gather financial documents before he has a chance to move money around, talk to a lawyer, etc. Better not to tip off the scumbag that he’s been caught, just in case.
