I have only tried the Bare Minerals Matte.  I like that it seems to smooth out my pores a bit but it really doesn’t keep the shine away for too long.

I use the Mac Mineralize and I really like it.  I also like the Physicians formula.

I used to work at a Merle Norman and they have a good mineral makeup, i don’t think a lot of people try the makeup there but i have to say it is good quality.

I second Bare Minerals! Works well for me, I’ve used their product for about two years now.

Pur Minerals! I had been using Bare Minerals for 6 years and switched to Pur Minerals after the first few uses! Its pressed minerals so less mess and the coverage is better and LASTS!

I used the Pur and didn’t like it at all.  Really odd finish, made me look unhealthy.  But I have pale skin, so could be why.

I love Bella Pierre’s Eyeshadow and am thinking of trying the Foundation…. is it basically the same as MicaBella? because I can find the foundation cheaper from MicaBella than Bella Pierre….

But I do also use the Mineral Foundation from TVAL

I just Bare Minerals and have for about a year. I have very oily skin, though it doesn’t break out much, and this stuff really looks good all day. I touch up a bit if I’m going out at night. Not too expensive, either, since it lasts for so long!

@pixxieprincess: Mac has a few different finishes on their mineral line. They have a total of 5 different foundations products if I am correct.

Here are the ones I own:

-Mineralize Skinfinish (This is a colored one)- I use this as a highlight powder and it has a glow/metallic finish. You can also use this all over. **Everyday, natural or going out.

-Skinfinish Natural- I use this daily as my face coverage. This is a very buildable, radiant finish. It looks very natural and I get a lot of compliments on my skin. (hard when you are fairskinned BTW!) **Everyday natural.

-Mineralize Foundation – This comes in a compact and is sort of creamy. This is a medium to full coverage and a matte but radiant finish. **Special occasion, good for pictures, easy for everyday if you need the coverage.

-Mineralize Satin Finish Foundation – This comes in a foundation pump and it is actually very light coverage. It’s buildable and provides a satin finish. **I use this for special occasion when I won’t have pictures taken. It’s very lightweight but the coverage is good.

Here is the one I don’t own:

The loose powder foundation- It’s supposed to be satiny and I heard good things but I have no use for it!

My daily routine (if this helps):

Wash with Aveeno Radiant skin cleanser.
Aveeno Radiant Skin Moisturizer.
Chafing Relief as Primer.
I let this “dry” for about 10 minutes.
Put on natural skin finish using a “buffer” brush.
Let set for a few.
Put on Warm soul blush under apples of cheeks.
Put on the colored skin finish on my forehead, noseline, chin, under chin and above blush.
Put on Love Thing Blush above highlighter.
Put on Estee Lauder Ivory lace cream shadow on entire eye (lid to under brow).
Lightly dust Warm Soul on eyelid, colored skin finish above eyelid.
Fill in brows with estee lauder eyebrow pencil.
Done! It sounds like a lot but this is actually an incredible simple and natural look (just blush, light eyemakeup and light foundation!)
