mrs24:  our golden doodle is very smart, we got him at 6 weeks old and by 8 weeks old he was potty trained. He taught himself to scratch the door when he needed out! He also learned to sit and give paw within those 2 weeks as well. He lovesssssss everyone. He is probably the friendliest dog in the world. We love him to death! I tell everyone to get one haha

I don’t have a goldendoodle but i have a airedoodle. (airdale terrior/poodle mix). I am firm believer any doodle mix is a great dog. I have met labradoodles and goldendoodles and they are all great. They are friendly, very smart, and full of energy!

We have a golden doodle that we got from a rescue. She is awesome! She is smart, friendly, and fun. She is also the happiest dog I’ve ever met- she wags her tail constantly, even in her sleep!

I am madly in love with my 4 year old mini golden doodle.  He is a friendly, brilliant goofball.  he is so sweet and fun and affectionate, was potty trained within a month, and loves to learn new things. cons?  He is high energy and can get into mischief if he doesn’t get enough attention, and he barks a lot.  my Fiance loves him too but complains a lot about these two things.

My mum breeds mini golden doodles 🙂
In Australia we call them mini groodles. They are so smart and attentive and will give everything they have to be a member of your family. They are however very active and due to their inteligence they MUST go to puppy school or they can become a bit destructive if they arent given enough stimulation.

That being said most people attend puppy school and take their dog for a walk everyday anyway so you shouldn’t have a problem.

They are also great for not shedding hair everywhere! My FH and I have a Boarder Collie and the hair is almost unbearable lol

My friend has a doodle. It pees all the time and all over the place. They have a petsitter come two times during the day to let him out, and he’ll still pee all over the place — this after having him checked out for any problems at the vet. Yes, he’s being trained professionally and at home, but that doesn’t stop him.

Remember that not all doodles end up being hypoallergenic. That’s a complete myth.
