As a follow up to my mini meals / heavy hors d’oeuvres reception menu post the other day, I am now posting all the food options that we have cut it down to.
Please choose 8-9 of your favourites, as this will be what we offer.
Vegetarians etc, sorry, this post is not for you, as you will have another seperate menu.
If for example you don’t eat pork and you like an option otherwise, still choose it, as we would make you a bacon-less version.
Help me choose the most popular dishes!

A) Can I come to your wedding?
B) I tried to keep the numbers down, but I picked a lot,
C) the “Puff pastry topped with roasted corn and avocado salsa” had me at hello.

Thanks for the compliments ladies, and thanks for the votes! It is really interesting (and helpful) to see what other people would eat, especially as my top 2 picks are 2 of the least popular choices (whiting and sweet potato chips). Maybe if I had called them sweet potato fries people might be more attracted to them?
I’d love some more votes please!

I was thinking like mac and cheese , chicken tenders with dipping sauces, and steak… but I dont know what your guests are like. When I was deciding on the menu alot of relatives popped into my head and my aunt likes things plain so with the chicken tenders she would eat those, and the mac n cheese. But you know your guests better than me. The pasta dish and salad are good choices too 🙂

@amyddlz: It is only a fairly small wedding, so I know most people’s food preferences. I’m pretty sure I will be the pickiest person there! Even the kids who are coming (my FI’s sisters kids aged 12, 10 and 8) have more adventurous tastes. They have multicultural weeks at home where the kids take turns to choose a country and they make food together from that country, with a different country ever day. Craziness! Sorry /tangent.
Thank you for your concernt though!
