I have researched dresses and shoes, given opinions on various items, and even researched cheaper options for items they were looking to buy etc.
Then the Bee never replies or follows up on their own post! Grrrr, just felt like complaining about that for a second
I have no power on the board, and I am not a Mod or anything, but from one Bee to another, please follow up on your posts! People respond, and it seems rude to me to not reply or update your post.

It’s very annoying, but it happens and we can’t all be on here all the time.
Post # 4
I totally agree. I’m always wary of posting on new users’ threads for just that reason. if you’ve had 1-5 posts and every one is just starting a new thread asking a question then never following up? Yea, no. not wasting my time.
Post # 5
@drummerbride: really? i feel like im here all the time…hahah!

It is tough sometimes when you don’t get any acknowledgment of the work you did. But you can’t control what other people do. If the research itself is not rewarding to you, don’t do it so often. Because there’s no guarantee that Bee will ever respond.
However, it might help to remember that even if that Bee doesn’t get back to you, in the future some Bee may do a search and come across your post and maybe what you say will help her!

Haha I agree, I need to know!
I kind of wish the OP in a post was highlighted a different color so we could quickly scroll down to see see if they had responded.

@koi424: Good points!
@AlwaysSunny: That’s a good idea.
I shouldn’t have replied to this thread, just to be ironic lol.

@AlwaysSunny: Good idea! Especially for the ones with no avatars.

@AlwaysSunny: that is a great idea!

@bunnyharriet: LOL. I always want to know how things turned out for the OP, especially on the emotional posts. 🙂
Post # 12
I wonder sometimes if new Bees start some of these emotional posts and then get overwhelmed by the responses and just bow out. But I want to know the follow up too!
Post # 14
@Sunfire: I agree. I wonder that, too.
@bunnyharriet: Sometimes I’ve felt that way as well. At other times, I think, “Oops. I guess I killed THAT thread.” LOL
Post # 15
Honestly, I’ve never thought to go back and look! I only help if I’m at a loose end and don’t mind so what’s the harm?
Post # 16
I know it’s frustrating. It’s just as frustrating when you have a legit question (and searched for similar posts in previous threads) and no one responds. I hate feeling like I started a dead end thread but it happens!
Regardless, even if the OP doesn’t acknowledge or even use your research, I guarantee someone benefits. It may happen 10 months down the road, but your research is worthwhile (especially to Bees who use the search bar) I promise! 🙂
