I hated my hair for my wedding.  I made the mistake of going with what my mom liked and not what I really wanted.  So I hear ya.

@sept22insf:  I knew from the get go I didn’t want an updo.  I wear my hair up in a bun most shifts at the hospital so I didn’t want anything like that.

I wish I would have grown our my nails longer though.  I got a gelish manicure a few days before the wedding and after seeing how strong they made my nails(my first manicure EVER) I wish I would have gotten that done way before the wedding.  Could have had longer, prettier nails if I would have done that.

@sept22insf:  Well think of it this way…..if your regret is related to how you wore your hair, you are doing pretty well.  I’m sure you still looked like a beautiful, beaming bride though Laughing

Not trying to make light of your regret, just giving a little perpective.

I wish somebody would have told me to pull my dress up in the back.  During the car ride to the venue it got pulled down when I sat, and then when I stood up it kinda came up UNDER my back fat, and gave me this strange roll back there.

Moral of the story – if things aren’t super tight back there, get one of your bridesmaids to smooth down your back skin back into your dress before you head down the aisle.

My regret is not trusting my instinct and telling the makeup artist to go easy on the foundation.  When I had my make up trial I hated that everytime I touch my face my finger tips would turn brown.  The day of the wedding, I decided not to say anything.  A few days after the wedding, when pictures started popping up on FB, I was mortified when I saw some pictures of my husband right after we kissed at the ceremony.  You can clearly see that my make up had rubbed off on his face.  And you can see it even more on the pro pics.  I’m African American and he’s Caucasian, so it’s hard to miss the brown spots on his cheek and nose tip.  Luckily, my photographer will photoshop them out!

I regretted my dress.  I think most brides regret something.  It’s unfortunate that hindsight is 20/20. :/  I bet you still looked stunning, though! 🙂

Looking back, I have veil regret – I wish I had done a longer veil! But otherwise, that’s about it. I think we’ll always have some element of regret since in the end, we can only make one choice and there are so many great ones! 🙂 I’m sure you looked just stunning!
