Don’t get me wrong. I love my friends. But some of them are being jackasses. Typical convo about wedding..
“Hey sweets, wanna gimmie some ideas about decor for the venue?”
“Sure, how about zombies?”
“or like…dawn of the dead?”
“The fuck is that? Ugh. I’ll go plan shit by myself.”
“you know I’m joking”
“Yeah so is everyone else. =/”
“Don’t worry it’ll look great whatever you do”
“Love you and appreciate it, but thats not helpful!”
“I suck at planning things”
“Yeah…I’m starting to think I do too”

Maybe it’s their way of showing they can’t (or don’t want to) help without actually saying it. I won’t lie, I could imagine myself saying that if I really didn’t have anything helpful to add.

Oh I know. I’m okay with it.
Just sucks planning everything by myself.

@Kewii: I agree, I think it’s her nice way of saying she wants to have her friend back. I would spend some non-wedding time with her, THEN ask her for some more ideas/help.

There’s nothing with having a non-tradtional wedding.
Not all weddings have to be in a church, the bride wearing a white dress, having classical or poppy music playing at the reception, or driving off in a limo when it’s all over.
It’s not a “questionable taste” that’s like me frowing upon my friend’s decision to have a camo wedding dress and a Duck Dynasty themed wedding.
