Dear Company where I ordered some gifts for my bridesmaids,
So, I ordered the gifts 1 month ago. And hadn’t heard anything from you. So I got in touch. THAT was when you decided to let me know that my items were back-ordered until May 26th…3 DAYS before my wedding. Were you planning to tell me that? Ever? Because my order status on your website says “IN STOCK” next to each item! No biggie, just give me my money back and we’ll go our separate ways. But really…an email would have killed you?
Anyone else have one?

Oh.. I’m SO tired of people not thinking about things like that!
My third church (yeah, long story) became my third church when my second church moved… WITHOUT telling me.
Just found out this weekend, after taking my invites to the printer, that my hotel (where my block of rooms are) is changing their hotel flag (from Sheraton to Doubletree) this week.. and no one called…. we have a contract for crying out loud.
Neither of these places considered that I might want to know these things.
So sorry you are dealing with this… these things are what are what’s going to drive me to drink.. ha, just kidding, but it’s extreme!

@ella1978 – Oh WOW, yours are way worse than mine!! I’m so sorry!! I can’t believe your church MOVED?! And your hotel just changed it’s name?? Are you able to change your invites, or are you just letting it go?

I was able to send a new file to the printer last minute (the only reason I’m using a printer is due to a huge mishap with my printer.. I talked about it in another post) and she is able to fix and reprint with the new info.
Yeah, the second church was merging with another church, and they way that they described it to me was that “one week they’d have services at their church, the next week at the other”. I called them in January to upate them on florist, time, etc & they were like “you know, I’d really like to show you this other church”… after a long discussion, it turns out that the church we selected was voted in November to close the first of the year. They used the holiday to move, and had rented the church & it’s offices out to the local college – who would be renovating it this summer… And no one thought to call and let me know… they said they didn’t “know what to say”… who knows when they would have eventually gotten around to telling me…
It was a pain.. but regardless of the severity, EVERYTHING in the last few months seems like it’s the end of the world, and I totally understand. After my printing thing happened this weekend – I literally cried because my nail polish chipped in the shower… It’s amazing how your emotions can totally get the best of you.
I hope you don’t think I was trying to compete… just venting as well. It seems that now a days I can’t get enough venting… 🙂
