seems to me that all those hand-decorated mini cakes would get really pricey realy fast.

definately cute though!

@ VirginiaMarie and others,

I saw DIY mini wedding cakes made of fudge-apparently blonde and dark-so cute!  (Although I would definitely be concerned about how well the fudge would come out) I know I’ve saved it in a bookmark, ha ha but not all are organized yet!  totally adorable.  Or you could easily DIY for favors if you had the time with sheet cakes and round cookie cutters, then frost and decorate simply with pre-made flowers or colored sugar sprinkles in your wedding color!  I wish I had a wedding to do these for!  Cute & fun!

I know I’ve seen them before, maybe one of the bees posted about them? Williams-Sonoma sells cakelet pans that look like wedding cakes. So if you want to DIY, check it out! We’re doing them for my shower.

I think these are adorable but they make me wonder about 1. pricing and 2. quality. But basically anything that it made  in miniature form – I am SOLD.

My niece’s first birthday is 2 weeks after our wedding, and she’s our flower girl. I am surprising her with a mini cake of her own as an early birthday cake since we will be on our honeymoon on her actual birthday.
