deannamarie :  when you don’t put a halo on it? 🤣

i know the center stone isn’t exactly minimal, I meant the design of the ring is… but I get it. I do.

pearfectprincess :  Your ring is beautiful. I love the simplicity of the plain band and the yellow gold looks great against your skin. Very elegant. What are you considering for your wedding band?

dracarys :  I love your set! A woman at the nail salon with a set that looked just like yours caused me to completely rethink my plan for my wedding band and I’m so glad I made the adjustment.

I would. It’s a simple design in a classic metal with a single stone and no additional embellishment. In contrast, some of the other rings posted have multiple stones, different metals, and antique or miligrain design elements.

anonymousbee001 :  thank you, by definition my ring IS minimalist. If we are talking minimalist in terms of ring design, minimalist design doesn’t mean tiny… it means minimal design elements. Even if we are talking minimalism in a lifestyle sense then absolutely, minimalism is simply decluttering and everything having a purpose, is doesn’t mean things have to be small or have to be inexpensive. Even then, this post didn’t appear to be talking lifestyle, it appeared to be referring to design.

Minimalism is any design or style where the fewest elements are used to create the maximum effect.

1/2 of the rings posted are busy designs, which are by no definition minimalism.

So while

nykkee :  rings are lovely, there is nothing minimalist about them, there three bands and many many design elements. But your rings are lovely! I’m sure they do sparkle a ton!

deannamarie :  I think you’re just rude. “In what world is a 5ct diamond considered minimalist?” Well, is we are talking design, then in this world it is. Absolutely.

The lighting in here is horrible and my ring is super dirty 🙈 but simple and timeless is what we were going for: high quality diamond in a platinum head, 18k rose gold band and the wedding band is plain rose gold.

lemonsandlife71 :  I’m not calling anyone out sweetheart, I was just saying it’s not a minimalist design!!!! You guys get so caught up in diamond size, when that has nothing to do with what we are talking about. 👍
